About this policy
This policy explains how the team operating Titan's Armada ("we", "us") handles information when you visit our game and official websites. The game is a persistent multiplayer strategy game: your account and progress are saved so the world can continue between visits.
For questions about this policy or your information, email contact@titansarmada.com.
Information we handle
- Account & sign-in
- Your chosen or generated callsign, an internal player identifier, your sign-in provider (Google or Discord), the provider's account identifier, the email address supplied by that provider, session records, and account creation and activity times. We do not receive or store your Google or Discord password. The game does not ask for your phone number or postal address.
- Game progress & preferences
- Your bases, units, resources, sectors, settings, tutorial progress, playtime, quests, scores, alliance membership, applications, roles, and gameplay event history.
- Alliance communications
- Messages and in-game coordinates you choose to send in alliance chat, linked to your callsign and the time sent.
- Connection & technical information
- IP addresses, request times, browser request headers, and error or security information processed by our servers and hosting providers to deliver and protect the service.
- Messages to us
- If you email us, your email address, message, and any information you include so we can respond. Please do not send your password.
How we use it
- Create and authenticate your account and restore your session.
- Save and synchronize your progress, settings, and the shared game world.
- Provide alliances, chat, leaderboards, quests, and rewards.
- Keep the service working, investigate errors, and prevent abuse.
- Respond to support and privacy requests and meet applicable legal obligations.
Where data protection law requires a legal basis, we process information as necessary to provide the game you request, for our legitimate interests in maintaining a reliable and secure service, and to meet legal obligations. Where consent is required for an optional use, we will ask for it.
The game currently has no advertising, payment, or third-party analytics integrations. We do not sell your personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Cookies & browser storage
Sign-in cookie. The game uses a necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. Its lifetime is 30 days and may be renewed when you use the game. In production, it is marked Secure and HttpOnly. Signing out revokes the current session and clears its cookie; it does not delete your account or progress.
Temporary sign-in cookie. When you sign in through Google or Discord, a separate cookie holds the authorization flow's security state for up to 10 minutes. It is cleared when the sign-in callback completes. The provider processes your sign-in under its own privacy policy.
Local and session storage. The game stores interface preferences, such as whether chat is open, on your device. Temporary session storage can carry a selected in-game map location between sectors. Browser caches and the installed web app may store game files and maps to speed up loading.
You can clear cookies, site storage, and caches in your browser settings. Clearing local data may sign you out or reset local preferences; it does not erase server-side progress. Blocking the sign-in cookie can prevent online play.
This policy page does not run scripts, set application cookies, or load external fonts.
Retention & security
Account and gameplay records are kept to operate your persistent account and the shared world. Chat and gameplay history are stored server-side. There is currently no automatic age-based deletion schedule for those records. You can request account deletion using the contact details below.
A session expires after its 30-day lifetime unless renewed, or is revoked when you sign out. Expiration or revocation stops it working; it does not necessarily remove the stored session record immediately.
Support correspondence and technical records are kept as needed to resolve requests, investigate problems, and meet legal obligations. Relevant criteria include whether an issue is ongoing and whether records are needed for security or a legal requirement. Any retained backups follow the hosting provider's backup lifecycle.
We use provider-based sign-in, HTTPS, and protected session cookies to help secure accounts. No online service can guarantee absolute security. Protect your Google or Discord account and keep its credentials private.
Your choices & rights
You can adjust game settings, sign out, clear browser storage, and choose what you share in chat.
Depending on the law where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of your information, restrict its use, or withdraw consent for processing that relies on consent. You may also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests. You may complain to your local data protection authority.
To make a privacy or account-deletion request, email contact@titansarmada.com with your callsign and what you would like us to do. Account deletion is handled by request; there is no self-service deletion button. We may need to verify account ownership before acting. Never include your password or session cookie.
Deleting an account can remove access to its saved progress. Some information may need to be retained where required by law or necessary to resolve an ongoing security issue. We will explain any applicable limits when responding to your request.
Children's privacy
We do not ask for dates of birth or knowingly collect information from children who cannot lawfully use the service without parental consent. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can investigate and address it, including deletion where appropriate.
Policy updates
We may update this policy as the game or its data practices change. The date at the top identifies the latest revision. Where required, we will provide additional notice of significant changes.
